Cultivated meat is synonymous with cell-based meat, clean meat, textured meat or in-vitro meat, is one type of cellular agriculture. Due to the environmental and animal welfare concerns, along with continued demands for more protein based food by the increase of the global population, the need for the development of alternatives to the conventional livestock farming has become inevitable.
